Can anyone give me information about this dress? When did she wear it? Does it go with a story? I looked on Curt's site and it almost looks like the shoes are black. I recently found the 3 main pieces (missing kerchief) on e-bay for a good price. It arrived yesterday and I love it! My poor Kirsten (ebay gift from DH) has a green complexion and was lacking color on her lips and cheeks. After giving her some make-up she decided she really likes modern stuff and rarely wears her own clothes - until now that is. Thanks in advance for any info. Now to keep an eye out for that Checkered Dress!

I think Kirsten wore it when she came over to America, but I'm not totally sure. It is such a cute outfit and one of my favorites!

Kirsten wore it coming to America. I think there a picture of Kirsten wearing it in Meet Kirsten.

AGfanatic is correct....if you look in the Meet Kirsten book, it's the dress she wore on the boat to America (p 21 is the best illustration of it)...she actually doesn't have her true "meet" dress until the very end of the story when she arrives at her uncle's cabin and is given the blue dress by them.

Thanks to all. I just got my book down to look and sure enough there it is. I read the book at Christmas when I got her but it wouldn't hurt to read it again. Did the dress originally come with a pamphlet?
